Week #1 North Pocono
C Game
The Olyphant lions started off with a roar when Austin Keegan ran back the kickoff for a touchdown. But unfortunately that
was the only score for the young C-Team and they were defeated 12 – 6.
B- Team
The superbowl defending champions opened with a
strong win 26-0 . They were led by Brad Kalinowski , who had 3 rushing touchdowns and also a rushing touchdown
by quarterback Jason Kenny.
A-Team
The
A-Team who was undefeated in the regular season last year also started fast . The opening play for the lions resulted in a
rushing touchdown by Corey Tomasetti. Corey finished the game with 2 tds, Martin Walsh had 1 touchdown and 3 2pt
conversions and Josh Gorton added the 4th touchdown of the game. The final ended up to be 31-6
lions.
Week #2 Wayne Highlands
C Game
It was another tough loss for the lions
, who could not put any points on the scoreboard. The final was 8-0 Wayne Highlands
B Game
The Lions had another
great offensive game. Brad Kalinowski led the way with 3 touchdowns and Jason Kenny and Cody Petcavage each added one. Zach
Fiume caught a pass for a extra point along with runs by Kenny & Kalinowski. The offensive success is greatly attributed
to the work of the offensive line . The final was 33-18 Lions .
A Game
The Lions roared off
to a spectacular start with a game opening touchdown return by Skylar Kapalski. The second score of the game came on a long
touchdown reception by Tyler Collins. The final 2 scores were turned in by Martin Walsh and both extra points kicks were good.
A special round of applause for the offensive line for the blocking and protection. Also the defense had a great day
with only a few first downs allowed. The final was 28-0 Lions.
Week #3
Valley View
C Game
The C Team struggled once again this week and moved up and down the
field , but could not punch it in . They came up short to Valley View 14-0.
B Game
The B
Team continued its winning streak . They were led by Zach Fiume & Cody Petcavge who both had rushing Td's. Brad Kalinowksi
and Zach Fiume added extra points via pass receptions from Jason Kenny who was 4 for 5 passing.
A Game
The A Team also continued their winning strak with a 28-19 victory over the Cougars. They were led by a balanced ground
game with long runs by Corey Tomasetti,Josh Gorton and Tyler Collins. The first score was a rushing Td by Corey Tomasetti.
Next came a rushing touchdown by Josh Gorton. This was followed by a Td pass from Martin Walsh to Tyler Collins. Walsh
then added the extra point , and the last score was a long run by Josh Gorton. The defense came up strong after
a turnover and caught the cougars in their own endzone for a safety.
Week #4 Taylor
C Team
The C team finally put some points and the board and picked up a nice win . Colin Munley,Austin
Keegan,Colin Hazelton and Dan Schmidt each scored to shutout the Vikes.
B Team
The B team improved to
4-0 with Cody Petcavage leading the way with 3 rushing td's. Jason Kenny added another and Brad Kalinowski and Zach Fiume
each added extra points
A Team
The A team also improved to 4-0 and rolled over the Vikes 45-0.
Josh Gorton led with way with 3 rushing Td's.Corey Tomasetti added one along with Tyler Fiume. Tyler Collins had
a Td reception from Martin Walsh. Walsh also had a interception returned for a score.
